The app gives you, the driver, information about what is happening and what information you can find along the roads. You can see information along a route or in an area you draw on the map.
The app contains a map solution from the Norwegian Road Administration.
You can use it for this:
• search for a route, save it as a favourite, and receive notifications
• see what's happening near you based on your location
• see height restrictions in the map
• show traffic reports, webcam and weather stations
• select a vehicle and obtain customized information for the type
• draw and save an area on the map, and receive notifications.
• get quick access to information of certain types by saving them as favorites (for example, traffic announcements, rest stops and webcams)
• find back to notified events in an inbox
The information displayed in the map is:
• road work
• closed roads
• important messages
• break places
• charging stations
• ferries
• webcam with pictures and video of weather and driving conditions
• custom vehicle height restrictions
One of the most important tasks of the Swedish Road Administration's traffic app is to display useful information for you as a truck driver. You will therefore also find 24-hour rest areas, some with cameras and image recognition to show available capacity (the service is expanding), and a route planner that helps you find a legal route based on height restrictions and usage classes.
