Code Rover is a game created by programmers for their 3 to 12-year-old children to learn basic programming concepts by playing. Kids solve pre-coding puzzles to help the rover to collect probes, explore planets, build rockets, and reach new worlds. Meanwhile, they comprehend some core programming concepts like algorithms as sequences of operations, decomposition of programs and code reuse, optimization, debugging, runtime execution in dynamic environments.
The game is designed in such a way that there are both a lot of optional basic levels and many advanced levels, so kids of different ages can play and study at their own pace.
Features:
* 196 levels and more are coming (multi-threaded programming with multiple rover control, crack algorithms of extraterrestrials to catch them, etc.);
* 4 stages: 1 - basic movement commands, 2 - wait command and moving objects are added, 3 - one subprogram, 4 - two subprograms;
* each stage has 3 types of levels: 16 main levels, 16 additional levels, 16 debugging levels;
* smooth difficulty increase;
* hints - never get stuck;
* no annoying banners that spoil children's play and study;
